Training Project with Magic 93
and the Pittston YMCA
On
April 18, 2009, HKQ Kids sponsored a
water safety training program in
conjunction with the Healthy Kids Day
program at the Pittston YMCA.
Magic 93 partnered with HKQ Kids and
the YMCA as a promotional sponsor. The
program was open to disadvantaged kids ages 7
through 12. HKQ
Kids underwrote the cost of the program as part of its continuing
mission to keep the kids of Northeastern
Pennsylvania safe. Drowning is the second-leading cause of injury-related death for kids under
age 15.
