1,300 Free Bike Helmets to Area Children

“This year’s event was unbelievable,” said Attorney Michelle M. Quinn, spokeswoman for
HKQ Kids®. “Every year, the response has gotten bigger, and this year it was overwhelming. We are thrilled that
HKQ Kids® has been able to equip so many children with bike helmets and help keep kids in our communities safe.”
Quinn said people lined up an hour before the
HKQ Kids® booth opened at 11 a.m. and the response was steady for most of the day. Children were required to be 12 or under and had to be accompanied by an adult to receive a helmet.
All free bike helmets distributed by HKQ Kids®
